God. Imagine being like “I wanna marry you” to your SO of 6 years and they say “I don’t wanna marry you” and then the entire world is like “THEY’RE MARRIED” And you have to suffer day in and out with that rumor and you have to put an end to it even though it’s probably what you really really want to happen.
You’re Losing Me will resonate with so many people because this kind of growing apart in a relationship is sadly a tale as old as time and I’m sure it’s incredibly tough to choose to share your heartbreak with the world especially when it’s still kinda recent but if anyone was ever wondering why Taylor’s music is like therapy for people this song is a perfect example why. it’s a song you play on repeat and just bathe in and come out of it knowing that you did everything you could but in the end made the right choice for yourself to leave and that’s why making music like this as well as listening to it is so healing and cathartic

and another thing is how he’s been up on taylor’s stage in front of 70k people?? I know he didn’t join taylor up but it’s still her tour, her stage and for someone like him to be on that stage..that man takes pleasure in watching women of color be brutalized and he’s up on that stage with so many women in the audience, including those of color. and then we had taylor the other day defending fans from that security guard who was manhandling women and girls..girl get him off your stage

Of course we had to be careful to not let it leak. It’s just the reality of her life; people constantly try to get her one way or another. Any shred of information about her is catnip for the media. The glare can be quite intense, so as a friend, we do try to be really sensitive to how much, and in what ways, we shine that light. With this song, it made more sense to let it be part of the whole record rather than pulling it out and being like, ‘Here’s the Taylor song.’”
